A Faith-Filled Celebration at Country Chapel & Wishing Well

Jon & Erin’s wedding was the kind of day that reminded us what marriage is truly about—a celebration centered on faith, family, and intentionally choosing each other. Every decision they made reflected those priorities, creating a wedding that felt genuine, relaxed, and deeply personal.
A Wedding Centered on Family
When we first met Jon & Erin, one thing became immediately clear: this wasn’t about creating a picture-perfect production.
It was about beginning a marriage in the eyes of God, celebrating with the people they love most, and making sure their children felt just as important as the bride and groom.
Their sons weren’t simply guests at the wedding—they were woven into every part of the day.
Erin’s son, proudly walked his mom down the aisle before standing beside the couple during the ceremony. Jon’s son, escorted his grandmother into the chapel, and together their blended family stood at the altar as they officially became one family.
It was one of the most meaningful ceremonies we’ve had the privilege of witnessing.
Keeping the Day Simple—Without Sacrificing the Details
When Erin described the vision for their wedding, she used words like non-cheesy, down-to-earth, playful, and laid back.
She wanted beautiful garden-inspired colors—soft peaches, creams, antique golds, fresh greenery, and romantic florals—but without anything that felt overly staged or theatrical.
Most importantly, she wanted everyone to simply enjoy the day.
That philosophy influenced every decision, from the intimate guest list of just under 40 loved ones to the luncheon reception that followed immediately after the ceremony.
Why Month-of Coordination Made All the Difference
With both a church ceremony and a separate reception venue, Jon & Erin’s wedding involved far more than simply keeping a timeline on schedule. Every detail had to happen at exactly the right time—and often in two places at once.
While they were getting ready and spending time with family, our team was preparing the ceremony space, coordinating vendor arrivals, styling the altar, setting out programs and guest comforts, and ensuring every floral delivery arrived exactly where it belonged.
As soon as the ceremony concluded, we transitioned into reception mode. Large floral arrangements were carefully transported from the church to Wishing Well, reception centerpieces were picked up and installed, place cards were arranged, the fireplace mantel was styled, gift and guest book displays were assembled, and every final detail was checked before guests arrived.
Throughout the afternoon, we coordinated vendors, kept the timeline moving, answered questions, directed guests, and handled the countless behind-the-scenes decisions that naturally come with hosting a wedding at two separate venues.
At the end of the celebration, while Jon & Erin hugged loved ones and headed home as newlyweds, our team packed décor, loaded vehicles, and completed the final breakdown at both locations.
The result? Their family wasn’t moving flowers, transporting décor, or staying late to clean up. Instead, they were exactly where they belonged—celebrating alongside Jon & Erin from beginning to end.
The Little Moments We’ll Remember
There were so many moments throughout the day that reflected exactly who Jon & Erin are.
The traditional rice toss outside the chapel.
The framed family photographs welcoming guests.
The personalized matchbox & candle favors waiting at each place setting.
Instead of a traditional guest book, Jon & Erin chose a favorite image from their winter engagement session for guests to sign—a meaningful keepsake that now holds the well wishes of everyone who celebrated alongside them.
The simple cake cutting after lunch.
The quiet hugs between family members.
And perhaps our favorite moment of all—the joy on Jon & Erin’s faces because they never had to wonder if everything was being taken care of.
They trusted the process.

Most importantly, they trusted themselves to simply enjoy becoming husband and wife.
